Softwave therapy treatment application at Carlisle Pain Relief

What Is Softwave?

Carlisle Pain Relief utilizes SoftWave Therapy as an effective approach to pain relief using acoustic waves to stimulate your body’s natural processes for self-repair.

It works when the soft latex dome-shaped tip of the applicator is touched to the affected area of the patient’s body. SoftWaves are created within the applicator head when an electrode is charged with electricity, creating a spark under the water. This spark creates a hot bubble of gas that expands into the surrounding water and produces the SoftWave that travels out of the applicator and into the area being treated.

These high energy acoustic waves penetrate deep into damaged tissue resulting in increased mobility and significant reduction, if not complete elimination of inflammation and pain. More importantly, these high energy acoustic waves cause cellular walls to become permeable which triggers the migration of your body’s own stem cells to the area for sustained long-term healing!

Inflammation Modulation: Directly reduces inflammatory markers, crucial in alleviating pain and swelling.

Angiogenesis Promotion: Enhances blood circulation, essential for soft tissue healing and the resolution of ischemic conditions.

Stem Cell Activation: Induces recruitment and differentiation of stem cells, promoting tissue repair.

In the domain of Pain Management, SoftWave Therapy stands out for its efficacy in treating conditions characterized by chronic pain, such as fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, and arthritis, through mechanisms that include:

Direct Cellular Mechanism Modulation: Addresses the cellular underpinnings of pain for lasting relief.

Holistic Healing Promotion: Stimulates systemic healing processes, addressing root causes of pain.

Adopting SoftWave Therapy in pain management protocols offers a transformative, non-pharmacological approach that enhances patient well-being and functionality.

How Softwave Heals

Shockwave Therapy, or Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (EWST),  is a non-invasive treatment that involves the delivery of shock waves to an injured area to promote healing. This treatment produces highly effective shock waves that initiate biological regeneration processes at the cellular level.

Treatment involving technology that applies short, frequent, and high intensity bursts of mechanical energy (in the form of a shockwave) into soft-tissue that is injured, scarred, or contains adhesions, is painful, or inflamed.

Patented Technology Is Part Of The SoftWave Difference.

SoftWave low intensity, unfocused energy is delivered via our patented parabolic reflector applicator in the form of parallel waves. SoftWave technology offers the ONLY UNFOCUSED SHOCK WAVE on the market. Despite this electrohydraulic shock wave energy in water traveling 5 times faster (3355mph) than in air (767 mph), it does not cause microtrauma.
